Hong Kong Airport and 3 hours awaits.....

Arrive Hong Kong international airport via Cathay Pacific, wasn't upgraded to first class by some form of miricle  :(

Watched the Simpsons, the intro to Eat Pray Love (couldn't make it past this....not reccommended) Darrell watched Family Guy, Despicable Me, Megamind and Takers....all in all a good flight. Not too bumpy, currently waiting just over 3 hours until our flght to Paris.

Eating a coffee, green tea, bottle of water and sharing a noodle soup in airport at a total cost of $23.00 Australia, although did pick up 1 ltr of Vodka and 1 ltr of scotch on way through customs.

I think 4 or possibly 5 wines on the plane had me at least in a state of relaxation where I may have had 1/2 hour of possible sleep...although who can really be sure.

Darrell is currently suffering from some sinus problems post plane however we did manage to find some medicine in the airport which was almost high five worthy. No screaming kids and a partially empty plane, free nuts, free booze, free food and they even stopped by with an apple. Service with a smile, and to the pilot and co-pilot 10 points for your landing effort! Very well done and coming from a self confessed plane scared out of her brain freak that means alot.

Managed to also find Wally in the where's wally book at the Brisbane airport, NOT SO WELL PLAYED WALLY.    ; )

Havent killed each other yet, but the night is young, another 13 hours on flight to Paris, landing at 6am, cranky, tired and with baggage the day will await us.

ByeBye

Europe Train Travel PART 1 - Crazy Times

Sitting at home on the deck, two laptops in hand the adventures of Cate and Darrell begin. We leave for Europe in 7 days and 2 hours, yet to sort out how we are travelling between our destinations.....

Travel by Thalys, TGV, Rail Team, Eurocity, ICE....the list goes on, how to get from Paris to Berlin, Berlin to Frankfurt and currently the most confusing of all....Venice to Naples, also at this point working out how far the hotels we have booked are from the local U stations. Not a bad 'leave it to the last minute' scenario we have on our hands here.
